How Do I Uninstall/Remove ipPulse Completely Off Your PC
From Northwest Performance Software:
ipPulse is a Connectivity and Device Status Monitoring Tool. Use ipPulse to monitor the status of IP connected devices (nodes) on any IP connected network. ipPulse uses a variety of methods, including ping, tcp connects, and SNMP to poll and check the network connectivity of a list of user-defined nodes. ipPulse alerts you to failures using a variety of techniques ranging from audible messages to email and logging. Supports a large list of target hosts entered as either hostnames or IP addresses or the list can be imported from a text file. Polls the list on a cyclical basis with full control over the list cycle timing parameters. Supports a primary and secondary test. Supports standard Ping test (Primary test only). TCP Port numbers for TCP connect tests are assignable on a per-node basis (Primary or secondary test). Optionally uses SNMP v1or v2c as a secondary test by requesting MIB2 ifOperStatus for every interface found on the target node. Community names are assignable on a per-node basis. Optional SNMP queries can be made for obtaining more extensive data from the target host. ipPulse includes a number of OID presets and 12 user defined OIDs. Multiple alerts and logging. Alert options include beeping your computer, playing a wave file, notifying someone by email, or sending a notification email to a cell phone. Logging options include logging all test results to a text file, logging only errors to a text file, or logging errors to a dynamically created HTML page.

Uninstall Errors - Why They Occur
As you install more applications and subsequently uninstall them, you'd think that's the end of the story. But very often, this is not the case. When a program is uninstalled, there is a high chance that there will be files related to that program which are left behind on the system. These files are useless because the program is no longer there to use them, yet they take up space and clutter up the hard disk.
Not only that, there are settings left behind by the program that still reside in the Windows registry. The Windows registry is a system database used heavily by Windows. When there are errant or obsolete entries in the registry database, Windows sometimes get bogged down, or problems may occur. You may also have experienced cases where an uninstall ended with an error, simply because of an errant entry in the registry. But where to find the entry?
Most of these problems are caused by bad programming habits by developers. The developers sometimes forget that certain settings and files need to be removed when their program is uninstalled, thus these settings are left in the registry and the files are abandoned in the system. This is despite the user doing a proper uninstallation.
The above method is supposed to uninstall ipPulse from your computer. However, sometimes a tiny mistake will make this simple process become a disaster. It may involve editing the actual Windows registry and would bring you many troubles. Moreover, the removal may mess up with other program on the computer. Therefore, it is highly recommended users to run a clean removal with professional and reliable uninstall tools.
